Black-haired dog breeds

With their majestic look, black-haired dog breeds are wonderful companions.

Black-haired dog breeds could have short, medium, or long coats. Their hair could be smooth, frizzy, or curly. A dog is considered a black-haired dog breed if every part of their coat is black. Some dogs are black but have a few markings that are fawn or white. These dogs typically have markings around their paws or stomachs like the Border Collie or the Chihuahua. These breeds are not part of this list.

Many breeds can have a black coat. Among them are the Pug, the Labrador Retriever, the Cane Corso, the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, the Poodle, and the Affenpinscher. Most of these breeds can also be another color as well.
