Bengal

The Bengal, or “miniature leopard” as it is affectionately known, is a hybrid breed resulting from a cross between a wild Asian Leopard cat and a domestic cat.

This leopard-like breed is active and talkative. Because they are athletic and have a particularly muscular body, Bengal cats need to exercise regularly. This means that they need to play and practice their hunting skills. As Bengals are very curious creatures, they love to explore the world around them. While the breed likes its freedom, the Bengal cat is very affectionate with the people around it and enjoys spending time with children and other animals.

Did you know? The Bengal cat loves water.

The Bengal’s coat is what makes it unique. The base color can be speckled or marbled with different kinds of markings that decorate the coat.
