Medium-long-haired dog breeds

Medium-long-haired dog breeds are a good compromise between short-haired and long-haired dogs.

While medium-long-haired dog breeds require less grooming, it is still important to brush your dog often to prevent knots.

Medium-long hair can be either long and dry or silky and flat. When the hair is dry, it is much less likely to tangle. It, therefore, requires less maintenance. On the other hand, if the hair is silkier, it tends to tangle. Especially in areas where there is a lot of friction. Do not hesitate to take this characteristic into account if, for example, you do not wish to devote much time to grooming.
